I feel like I'm gonna gain weight because I'm so stressed out due to work and my husband. I just got really bad news about me ever having kids. I am not able to have kids. We tried for 5 years and still no luck. My husband being a guy said he didn't care. That really hurt my feelings. At work I am working 60 hours a week and really am tired. I get pushed to my limits with my job and my husband. I feel so alone and I am emotionally tired and not well. I hope I can still make it through this. I just have 60 more pounds to lose. I am almost there. I can touch it but my life won't let me I will soon be eating out of stress. Please can anybody give me support or advice or just tell me I'm stupid and everything's gonna be okay.

No You are not being stupid! If you're going to eat out of stress, try to surround yourself with real dried fruit, nuts, or other healthier snacks that satisfy the chewing reflex while remaining low calorie. I would say that gum works, but not always. Been in your shoes, & wish the best for you. Holidays are not the best time to broach the subject, but have you thought of becoming Foster Parents. I know that there are young kids in need out there. It gives you a chance to utilize those maternal instincts. It takes the "responsibility" off of your husband to perform, and depending on how the program works in your area, you set the guidelines on the ages of children you are willing to care for. It also opens up opportunities, because you never know how your body will respond once the pressure to get pregnant is off. Good Luck whatever you do.

Not sure if this will help or not; my best friend and her husband have been married 16 years this past August. They were told many years ago, that she would be unable to have children. Last August (2013) She was ill and had to go to the ER. while there, they ran all of the normal tests and found out that she was pregnant. (ended up being 30 weeks) her medical issues make it so that unless she took a test or suspected it, she would never have a clue that it was possible. They are now parents to a 14 month old little boy who is the best gift they could have ever received. I don't want to get your hopes up; or make it seem like it WILL happen someday because it doesn't always happen that way... but miracles do happen some times. You aren't stupid, and he cares somewhere deep down, but he is trying to make you understand that it is not the end all - be all of your relationship/marriage. Don't be too discouraged about his feelings on the subject. having seen it first hand with my best friend and her husband, even though he said "i don't care" or "it doesn't matter" it did matter to him, they just deal with it differently. If you are going to stress eat; I would suggest making yourself a big salad or some small vege snacks like celery. when we stress eat normally its crunchy things; that could help.
