Well, I lost my big speech contest, but I did a great job and here is the speech. Dom's (Mrs. Mole's) Toastmasters SpeechWeighing in at 190 pounds that day, at least I'm looking darned good, I'll say that much! My friends were there supporting me, I did the absolute best I could, and a had fun doing it. The fact that the judges chose someone else is nothing I could help. There's always next year! Enjoy everyone!

Thanks to all for your support! What I meant my saying I "lost" is that in this case and my winning 2nd Place, I do not get to go on to the next round which is the highest level possible. The lady who won is brand new (2 months) and beat me by one point - D'oh! It happens! I'm okay with it, but it semi-stinks, I won't deny it. But again, I look damn good, and I'll take that to the bank - woo hoo!
