Hormones....measuring tape still moving down. Last day of prednisone...Yay!
169.2 lb Lost so far: 3.8 lb.    Still to go: 19.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Getting off that prednisone for a few days may result in a weight drop. It always has for me. I hate taking that stuff but now and then necessary.

Nice - It is always great to be taking prednisone....but it is even better getting off of it. You will see some weight loss once your off.

Since prednisone causes weight gain do steroid shots cause it too?

That effing prednisone is a pain in the neck...but works so well! you will get a drop after you are off it for a couple days - that is what worked for me after two weeks if it!

Using less measuring tape is always a GREAT sign of progress! So long, prednisone; hello weight drop!
