Lily100's Journal, 13 March 2016

Week nine on my calorie counting diet and again I am pleased to say that I lost one pound. So now my total is 12 pound loss. My clothes are still fitting me which I cannot understand, mind you, I do wear elasticated waistbands. I am expecting to plateau soon so I have been exercising more and when the time comes I will change my diet and maybe my RDI. The past three afternoons we have had beautiful sunshine in the South of England and I have been going out for extra walks. Thankyou again members for the feedback, it really helps. I think fatsecret is great. Good luck to all and remain positive.

Try some more water...it does a body good. They say a topical person should drink 8 cups water daily. But keep in mind you should drink more if you are perspiring or exercising more. Remember it flushes toxins too. Be careful not to drink too much because you can dilute your needed electrolytes that balance your body for optimal function and recovery.

Congrats on such a consistant loss Lily! Re: the clothing....I've found that with elastic waistbands and certain cuts of shirts, it can take a little longer for clothing to start feeling big. For me, I think things were a little snug to begin with so they didn't feel big for a while. I actually realized things were big by looking in the mirror and realizing they looked kind of sloppy on me...but the fit actually felt fine.

Hi Lily What can I say But "WELL DONE YOU" again, my method of dieting is still working for me, Like you I may plateau at some point so I am reading up on a low carb diet, the only thing is I love my fruit, bread and rice etc but it says if you aim between 15-35 carbs per day on the foods you like and incorporate more of the 0 carb foods you should lose between 1 to 2lbs per week, but until that day we shall both carry on what we are doing cos it works for us!..... Am I right or am I right!..... BFN Maggy May

Thankyou for all your comments.---@Klover6 ,I think I do drink enough water as I like it.--@ Vickie 5966,maybe in a few weeks time my trousers will start to look baggy, but I have sizes 18-16-14 and 12 in my wardrobe as I expect a lot of us on here also have. --- Maggy, like you I love my carbs as you know and I am happy with a one pound loss but yes,I know sooner or later we will have to have less carbs. I am going on holiday to Ireland in July so a good incentive for me to do well.. cheerio for now. Lily
