Char Gets Thin's Journal, 07 January 2014

The "Artic Vortex" has hit...and even down here in FL we're cold as all heck! It dropped to high 20s here last night, warm compared to the rest of the country, but FREEZING COLD by Floridian standards! (Read that as we'll have crop damage before this cold spell is over, so higher prices on citrus for everyone.)BUT...I still have every intention of getting out for a few mile walk today, to drain some of the excess energy from my dogs! AND keep the MoJo going for my weight loss. ;)

Did pretty good yesterday, and saw a slight loss, so all's well there...just have to get my body moving more during the day that I have been the past few months. Oh, I get my nice walks in daily, regardless of weather, but after that I've been slipping...so have to make sure I'm on my feet more during the day that I have been. Yesterday I did pretty good at it, got in some yard work, a few hours of housework, in general staying on my feet most of the day. NOW to just keep it up! lol

Wishing everyone a healthy, happy, WARM OP Tuesday! Let's get the job done, y'all, we CAN do this! :)

I can feel your pain on the crops, that's going to be a hard hit to handle! However, I'm desperately looking forward to tomorrow, when we will warm up to twenty lol. I'm in Ohio btw. That artic vortex was for the flippin birds, and I'm glad it's almost over! Enjoy your walk, and congrats on the loss :-) You're doing great!
