i wanna lose weight but i dont know what to eat what to exercise can someone help me?
165.3 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 22.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

To lose weight you need a calorie deficit you can count calories and use an activity tracker that’s what I did and ate less than I burned in a day. Or you can follow a certain diet more veggies and protein and less processed and starchy grains seems to be the best way. Some people do keto, paleo or whole 30 to start. I just ate at a calorie deficit. One salad a day five days a week. Switch the lettuces and the toppings to not get boring. If you look at my journal I have a some what detailed description of what I did somewhere are March 30. Good night for now. Small sustainable healthier choices will help. Water instead of soda. Rice’s cauliflower instead of rice at least sometimes. Brown rice instead white.

Congratulations. The willingness is the first step. You will get lots of support and lots of different ideas here. Personally I am on a low carb, High fat, moderate protein way of eating (WOE). I've tried just deficit calories but can't stay with it. I'm a carb addict, especially sugar, but bread just makes me want more. Keto eating releases me from cravings and constant hunger right away. There aremanu sources on the web for this WOE. I started out reading Dr Mercola, went to Dr. Berg, and then just kept checking out site's others suggest. Keto connect is a fun site. This is just the way I do it. Good luck. 👍😁

You just took the most important step... making the decision to change direction! As a start I would recommend figuring out your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) then set a target limit to 500 cals below that mark per day. That gives you a starting point. Tracking what you eat is very important I find if for the simple awareness it brings if nothing else. Perhaps cutting back on processed foods, especially crab heavy things and replacing those cals with good veggies (especially leafy ones) and proteins. Also work to plan out what you will be eating a couple days out and stick to that. Read up on all the ideas on diet out there but focus for what works for you and your life. You can do this! Know that folks here will be cheering you on.
