Happy 1st Day of Spring1
Good morning everyone...and yes its the day we have been waiting for..at 12:15 pm today its officially SPRING...YAY!
I have been up since 4:15am dealing with issues lol....
I had woke up ...made my coffee and went to the living room to turn on the television on...we have Direct TV service ..the screen had stated the server was down ..went to bedroom turn on another tv ...same thing...
our main Direct TV box...and DVR system that runs the whole show for the house connection is down in family room where the large screen is located...so thinking I will just go down and reset it all to get it up and working again...needless to say system wouldn't turn on
baffled I continued to investigate this issue and looked behind our system and our ceiling was damp...wall was damp ...power band water was dripping out of it when I picked it up...it was all unplug at that time because I did shut it down... our upstairs bathroom is directly above our downstairs set up...we have a leak somewhere...large screen system shot....DVR...shot..
it was definitely an intense morning for us....
hubby and I continue to move things from the area..thank God the area is a built in elevated angle typeof area to hold complete system in...could have damage our sound system..etc but it didn't.
So now today...already I have insurance men..service men...a plumbing contractors all coming to visit and assess this problem we have today...
Its going to be a long day....
Hubbys unable to handle the home part of it hes got them coming here though been on the phone since early this morning ... but he also has major business meetings today
The reason I'm sharing this with you is
Ive decided that I'm just going to pull from me my positive energy and still enjoy my day...yes... its devastating...yes... all system are down...I had other plans for today too that now needed to be canceled ... as I speak to people to get assistance and they are trying to sympathize with my morning.. I just laugh and say ...its going to be ok..we are healthy...we could be dealing with something larger like a flood as others have.. well... we are on a hill so we may be spared of that lol it was just a point...;)
I cant get on here and say its just a weight gain...in my journal and we need to be positive ..and then to say many others wish that is all they had was weight gain to deal with...
If I cant follow the same advise..Im given.. when something difficult is facing me.
Its my day and I'm going to do other things be positive when I have the adjusters....contractors...service men ..arriving to assist me today..going to laugh and be very positiv and project a positive energy towards everyone...
You have to go through things to truly appreciate them...
Right now I truly appreciate my coffee maker is brewing me hot cups of coffee and I still have Netflix to watch lol computers are up...internet is a different company Yay! and you I appreciate everyone here..
so happy first day of Spring my friends going to get busy with some more spring cleaning...and take care of this situation I'm dealing with today in a positive manner...
