I will make an effort to check in everyday in Dec.,recording what I eat, weighing in and eating only between 10am and 6pm (Christmas eve and Christmas may push these boundaries a bit). I know I'll be eating sugar here and there because of baking but i'll record honestly. I'll walk at least 30 minutes a day. I'm going in at a high weight so I have to watch out this year. Good luck buddies, the holidays are tricky.

I just looked back and saw that I haven't been in the 160s since 2011. I would love to get my range back down to 155 - 169. 170 is okay but seems to get me in a kind of danger zone. If I could maintain 155 - 165 I'd be thrilled. 23 pounds to lose to get into that range. I can do it. What is your favorite range?

Day one - the hardest part was waiting until 10 am to eat anything, but I did it and about 1500 cal like I wanted. It's now 5 to 6 and I'm full, happy and ready to go 18 hours. I'm reading the Obesity Code which is about this, in case anyone is interested. But its only day one and the experience needs dedication in order to see if it has any merit. One day at a time for this gal.

The idea is that we eat so much that we never let our insulin levels out, they stay high. This is an interesting approach in that it does that but also allows the belly to shrink to a more reasonable size.

and its 16 hours with no food, not 18 hours. Eight hours to eat.

gosh thats tough .... wow i would go crazy - im always waiting for my third hour to actually eat .

well there is 7 hours of sleep rite so i guess you have like another 7 before bedtime.

Once you get into the rhythm of IF, your body will love it. This week, I did a 42 hour fast, just because I wasn't hungry. Most days, I only eat once.

I can eat anything for the 8 hours, of course I'm staying pretty healthy about it.
