NSV for those of you worried about all that fat and calories that make up the high fat low carb way of eating. I had a ton of lab work done Wednesday to rule out certain possibilities of what is going on with my memory (story for a different day) Here are the results of the lipid test AHDL: 76 range is 35-60 (the higher the number the less likely you are to develop heart disease) LDL: 78.8 range is 100-200 Triglycerides: 51 range is 30-150 Cholesterol: 165 range is 100-200 Interestingly enough, despite all the meat, eggs, and fish, leafy veggies, nuts, and avocados I consume I'm very anemic. I don't have heavy periods, in fact they're becoming non existent as I approach 50, so what gives? I've lost around 20 lbs since then end of January (losing slowly on purpose), my clothes are falling off, and I feel good despite the seriously low iron levels. Everyone's body reacts differently to this diet so my results won't necessarily be yours, but I thought I'd share.
