I am showing a two pound drop, which is good. BUT ...I have only lost 3 pounds in a month. Freaking ridiculous!! I went by MIT Chow info, showing an expected two pounds a week drop, eight pounds for each month. My monthly average was up my about 20 calories per day, which means at least a six pound drop. I even upped exercise. The only thing I can think of is perhaps my body thinks it needs to be in starvation mode and is holding back. Or, extra calories were added by way of butter etc when I ate out. Again, Freaking Ridiculous!! Next plan is to up my calories for August and keep at the exercise. I held off writing on my journal because I am so disgusted by working so hard and barely getting any results. The only good thing I can say at this point is at least I didn't gain weight. Maybe when I measure at the beginning of the month, there might be a change. Trying to be positive. Okay, rant over.

@C67241 I only had wheat carbs two times last month, one was tacos with the kiddos one night and the flour or soy flour the chinese restaurant puts on the orange chicken dish. I have avoided the "bad carbs" for months now. Its just veggies and fruits. I did experiment one day with soy flour, almond flour and I have tried making oat flour from rolled outs to add to my turkey burgers.

@Draglist and Diablo Thank you very much. I don't think I am in famine mode by any means. I have gotten used to eating less, so I get full faster. When I do have a dinner out or with my family, I plan for it before for a couple of days, or after.

@ Aman_da I certainly do get enough protein, most days more protein than carbs. Chicken, turkey, tuna, salmon and plain Greek yogurt top the list. @ C67241 I almost can see me hitting goal :) So many comments, including yours, were right on. I am down to the "marble fat" that has been hanging on me for the most years. Time for it to go!! I just get frustrated every now and then because it just won't go fast enough.

03 Aug 14 by member: kattay Kattay yes I am <3 the kids bring life into me <3 one little fellow whom I will never for get ,, he was white & black race and what a beautiful child he was ,, one day I reminded him to sit on his bottom cause its dangers to seat on your knees I told him ,,, he said OK Miss Dolores ,,I thanked him for following directions ,, a few mins latter he said Miss Dolores ,, I love ya <3 I said you really do he said yes ,, I said that is so nice of you ,, I said then why do you have trouble listing to me ?? he said with the most beautiful smile on his face I don't know but I still Love ya <3 my heart melted ,, and as he was getting off the buss he wanted a huge ,, so I gave him a huge and he turned his head towards my face and gave me a big kiss right on my lips ,,, I said honey ya know we cant be doing that ,,, a huge is a huge ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,he ran off with this biggest smile every like he got one on me which he had ,,,, O M G it's awesome someday ,, but there are days I have to pray to get through it but I love my Job <3 and I truly enjoy that big engine sound I love driving the bus been doing this singes 2006 praise be to God no no accidents ,, lots of rewards for that <3 sweet
