I went HAM (hard as a _____) yesterday doing cardio. I found my old iPod that I've had for 6 years, and surprisingly it is still in good working condition, and all my music is on it from when I was growing up. I even have a playlist on it listed "workout jams" that I don't think I have ever used up to this point. But yesterday I rocked it out. I'm really trying to make time to go in and do even 30 minutes of cardio, so I was able to go yesterday. I've been doing a lot of elliptical, and I was able to do 3 miles on it in exactly 30 mins. Which is pretty impressive because this time last year I couldn't do more than 5 minutes without wanting to sob hysterically. So its definitely a vast improvement. I did my 5k earlier this year, and I do at some point want to incorporate running a little bit more. It would be awesome to be able to tell people I've ran a half marathon. Or maybe even a full marathon. Obviously that wouldn't be for a long while, and I don't want to make it an official "goal" until I realize it's actually obtainable. For the time being, it is something to work towards. Also, I do want to do the tough mudder next year. A lot of people don't have any real want to do it because it really isn't so much about strength or running, as it is about being absolutely crazy and having stamina. But it would still be nice to tell people I've done it.

Hope everyone is having a great day!
