Yikes, this weekend was awlful... the dastardly evil Nemesises(pural?) of mine came to battle against me this weekend, and I lost the battle.. but NOT THE WAR!! :-D
Yes, I was doing pretty well on Saturday-- my wife and daughter went to Fort Wayne to celebrate my daughter's birthday (their annual trip).. and then at about two in the afternoon she called.. and informed me that my brother in law from California was in Kokomo.. so she came and picked me up, and we went down to Kokomo to my father and mother in laws..
Well they had pizza.. a down fall.. man I still can not believe how much calories is in a pizza slice.. anyway-- had three slices.. Battle One-- food 1 Roger 0

Battle Two: As I said my daughter had a birthday on Saturday, we went out after church on Sunday to a Mexican resturant.. had chicken Fajita.. ok, had a huge plate of "stir fried veg's and chicken"- a large plate of refried beans, along with rice and lettuce.. and fajita wrap.. ok not taking the average huge plate, I am talking H--U---G---E (get my drift)... ate half of the plate.. then took the other half home, ate it for supper..Battle lost again..lol

Food 1-1/2 Roger 0 (ok gave food .5 cause there was a lot of vegg'es and chicken)..

Now the biggest of my foes came up to plate.. Get me behind me Evil food...
We got home, my daughter wanted RED VELVET CAKE! MY ALL TIME FAVORITE TYPE OF CAKE..
through out the day.. I had THREE STINKIN SLICES...Almost the war was won by food. but not quite..

Today is a new day.. onward and forward..rofl....

276.8 lb Lost so far: 66.2 lb.    Still to go: 81.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I love this entry! My middle daughter had a birthday on Saturday as well. She turned 4. But, she is 2,200 miles away living with her older sister and my parents in Wyoming. It was a depressing day for me to not be able to be there, and I gave in to the worst enemy- chocolate! Chocolate marshmallow santas, mini kit kats, a box of Black Cherry Cola Cordial Cherries... just to name a few of them. Diet ruined! But today was better... I think. Keep up the war! We are allowed to lose a battle now and then :)
