Been "fat" for my entire life, so it seems. I have tried dieting several times before- but gave up, and felt like a failure.. yeah, i feel like my middle name is Failure. I battle depression, working for a fast food joint as a supervisor (yeah, I am 55 yrs old-- and working as a supervisor.. when I graduated from High School, this is not what I expected to be at)..
I need to loose a ton of weight, seems hopeless... came bout my doctor gave me a scare back in April 2014. This is a major nightmare for me, the fearing that I will fail at this as well...
Not a pretty sight.. that I am painting.. I guess I am too honest...

November Update: "I have come a long way baby!" Back in Apirl If you asked me If I would be that my weight in Novemeber, I would have laughed at your face and say no way. I know myself better than that.. No discipline, the I know I will fail at this, etc etc etc. If you ask me do you feel any different, I would say Not in dramatic ways- but I can do things that I could not do before, like walking in Walmart without a chart as a support instrument, walking up the stairs, WAlking...

How did I do it? You may ask... be truthful on your calorie count as much as you can. Find support from your friends--- be honest with them in your "times of success" and "times of desperation!" If you do not have a support system, then use this as your tool.

Some people say that I am too honest, well I am almost 30 lbs to 50 lbs away from my goal and I started in Apirl of this year!!! You tell me? LOL..

If I can do this, anyone can!!! As the tennis shoe company's logo signature says..."Just do it!" and do not tell yourself that you can't.
Do not beat yourself up if you "fall of the horse" just dust yourself off and get back on the horse... it took a life time to get to this place, and this is a life long journey...

I am at six feet..the doctor wants me at 225 (the lowest) to 250... no lower.. Smile (really)-- right now.. at 265ish.. people are saying I am too skinny.. already...

I'm going to be hungry
Yes, ok I am going to say life style change instead of dieting, stinks... you do not have the freedom to eat what you want when you want. Yesterday was on those days I wanted to throw in the towel.. I missed hamburgers, french fries, pizza,Little Debbie's swiss cakes.. I MISS THEM!

But, is it worth the risk of a heart attack, or having diabetes-- which is greater pull fear of heart attacks, or diabetes, or the like, or the love of fatty unhealthy foods? Will it be worth it? Well yes it will...

I had a great feeling of walking in stores without the use of a cart to support me, it is a great feeling to walk up the stairs like a normal person, instead of one step at a time.. it is a good feeling for the first time in over 8 years to put on a 3x jacket and zip it up and it fits!! The person that wrote, I also think that once a person can see the results of their diet- that gives them a huge motivation to keep going..." I totally agree with this statement... well put...

A friend of mine asked me on facebook what was my secret for my weight loss.. I wrote what I felt like a page and a half of things that I do daily.. she said "That is too much work!" I thought, yeah it is-- but I am over 40 lbs lighter than what I was in April.. I got a long ways to go before I even see the "finish line" of my weight goal.. BUT it will never really end.. I have to realize that...

Hang in there, it will be worth it..
