I'm actually happy with my weigh-in because last Friday I went on a crazy sugar spree! I gained about 4 pounds from that little mistake, but I've lost almost all of it over the course of this week. I'm not proud of myself for gaining that weight at all. I feel like I can hardly stay on this diet for a week without cheating, and I almost always go over board when I do cheat. I was very happy with myself the other night when I wanted to delve into my son's sugary fruit snacks, but I stopped myself and had some bacon instead.
My mom wants to go to Olive Garden for Mother's Day (she doesn't know I'm still on my diet) and at first I was scared, but I think I'm going to have the herb-grilled salmon that's on the "gluten-sensitive selections" section with some alfredo sauce. It's served with boring old broccoli, but it's better than cheating on my diet and regretting it later.
I hope everyone has a happy Mother's Day and avoids temptations :)
