I hate being fat. so depressed with my appearance. Here I go yet again. I'll lose weight, get down to 205 then my metabolism stops. soo tired of this.
216.9 lb Lost so far: 0.8 lb.    Still to go: 36.1 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

To me the keys to weight loss are reduced calories, increased exercise, especially cardio, anything to bring the heat rate up and adequate sleep.

Thanks, but the less calories i consume, the lazier my body becomes, ive barely been consuming 1000 kcal for the last few months and the scale doesn't budge. Ill try keto again, then do a little metabolic confusion, and see where I'm at next week.

1000 calories is not enough for you to get to where you want to be. When you shock your system your body will actually hold onto fat. Because the body is not sure of what's going on. There's so much free information out there on healthier approaches to weight loss. Re-feeds also help when you think you've hit a wall or plateau.

You can attain the body and weight you want. You just need to decide what type of appearance and weight you want. Then set your macros to that goal. Then it's just about being consistent over time. I want you to be happy with yourself. You have to commit to making better choices more times than not. Remember although the saying is corn it is ultimately true. If this was easy... then everyone would have their dream body. It's hard for a reason. Those who want it will work for it. Those who don't will look for excuses for why they couldn't do it. I say that as someone who hated their body. I was 300 + lbs... I finally had enough and said why not me? Why can't I look and feel great? I'm right about 3 years into this and 131 lbs down. You can do this but you have to believe in yourself and want it more than anything.

Stop eating so much cheese with keto and keep to locally sourced meat, lots of fruit for times of craving high quality fats. Give it MONTHS before you throw your arms up and get discouraged. It takes time.
