Happy Monday, FS friends! This is week #20 with only a small loss but I am fine with it. I did not weigh in last Monday because I was visiting family for the weekend. Wine, pizza and birthday ice cream cake were involved but I did my best to eat reasonably. One slice of pizza, not two or three. When we had brunch at IHOP most everyone had breakfast but I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Back home during the week and resumed my normal food choices. Yesterday’s dinner that I “saved up for” consisted of one beer from a local brewery along with pork barbecue and a couple of mouthfuls of mac & cheese and potato salad from a food truck on premises. I would have had chicken instead if there had been any! Supporting the local economy, and it was delicious and a very low-key enjoyable time. So I’ll take the small loss, happily. Two weeks til another doctor visit and lab tests. I’ll be surprising the doc with my progress since Feb. 15.
