I'm in weight loss for the long haul. No secrets, no special diets, no speedy or yo-yoing weight loss. Just less calories in +more exercise. I started Sept. 2013, moving from whatever calories I was formerly eating to a strict 1700 cal/day. Add in walking for 1/2 hour 5 days a week at a brisk pace...and now (Feb. 12, 2014), I've lost 26 pounds...and I'm still losing. Slow and steady never lost a race.
