FocacciaBread's Journal, 16 March 2021

Tried adding homemade veggie/fruit juices to my roster today, and it put me about 200 over where I want to be (well, either that or my protein/date bars, haha). While I think juicing is a smart choice for me, since I don’t eat enough fruit in a day, I need to be mindful of portions.

One day over 1400 isn’t going to kill me, may actually be better in the long run... but in the short run I’m slightly disappointed in myself. I’d exercise it off, but I’ve been doing housework since I got home from work, and it’s already 9:30. I figure I need the sleep more than the rowing. Fingers crossed I don’t go up too much tomorrow, that would be disheartening.

Oddly enough, I’ve never had an apple/carrot juice... mostly because I usually get small carrots lol. But maybe I’ll add that to my roster- thanks for the suggestion! I normally have the Mean Green(kale, cucumber, apple, ginger, lemon) and the Dad’s Day OJ (oranges, pineapples, romaine, ginger, and squeeze of lime) from Joe Cross (nice recipes, odd man).
