Yes, Americans typically don’t have a diet that anyone should be emulating. Every country that has been exposed to what we eat, KFC, MCDonalds have very quickly developed obesity and diabetes issues. Look at Japan and China for instance. Find a sensible way of eating that allows you some flexibility but also has your health goals as it’s core.
