Another great day in NYC! Got in a 45 minute cycling class this morning, followed by 20 mins on the elliptical and 20 mins of upper body strength training. Continuing to eat approximately 1000 calories per day, in addition to burning anywhere from 600- 800 calories daily at the gym. I’ve put on about 60 pounds in the past 3 years, and another 30 during the three years before that. This is the first time I’m realizing that it is CRUCIAL to be very conscious about what you consume daily. This journey consists of 80% of what you’re doing in the kitchen and 20% of what you’re doing at the gym. Cut out all processed foods, all added sugar, ZERO bread and if you must have a piece of toast, go with black bread/pumpernickel! Can’t forget to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, but water and tea only! 228.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 78.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
