looks like our holiday weekend is being given over to hiking.
We spent 4 hours yesterday hiking a section of the AT that we’ve hiked before and are going to try another section today- an 8 mile hike that covers some terrain in another part of our county that we’ve hiked some of before.
Beautiful days with lovely weather.
We’re loving the new trekking poles that we got on Father’s Day. (a gift for DH but I got 2 sets!) They help a lot on the incline and save the knees on the declines. Here in PA, our section of the trail is rocky enough for us to have earned the name ‘Rocksylvania."
