Lily100's Journal, 18 March 2016

Hello fatsecret members and buddies.
Nothing much to report. But just wanted to say 'Hello' to you all.
I am managing to roughly keep to my RDI. There have been quite a few temptations this week but I have resisted. My big worry is that the Easter holidays are coming and there will be quite a few outings/trips and it may be hard for me. But I will try and be as good as possible and remember the reason why. Just like to say that this morning whilst exercising my waist felt a bit thinner. Weigh day on sunday, hoping for another 1lb loss.
Wishing you all lots of will power. See pic

I love that poster :) I never realized FS was worldwide until recently. I love the fact that other countries are here to support each other and that's right, this community is so positive and trying to BETTER ourselves. I like it when we are all here to support, no matter where we are from, we all have this in common and it is a beautiful thing :)

My daughter lives with me and insists on baking cookies every other night, even though I am at risk for Type II Diabetes. If the cookies are not here, I don't even think about them. But when you smell them baking, it's a different story. Last night I had 2 before bed. I call her "The Great Diet Saboteur." She thinks it's cute. I think it's hateful.

Hi Lily "Luv the Picture" the words are so true aren't they, we all need encouragement one way or another in most things we do throughout life!..... Hubby has just bought me a step through bike, because last year I fell off my mountain bike twice hurting my knee then my lower back/coccyx, so he said it was either a new bike or maybe a new Hip! Ha Ha, the other joke that he kept on with was that I was getting to old to get my leg over ,Boom Boom, he would then pause for a while and say Bike saddle! which he thought was hilarious, Bless Him! ..... I couldn't wear shorts and vest like the girl in the picture but have just purchased some black and white pedal pushers and a 3/4 sleeve T shirt to cycle in which suits my age bracket a little better, must get hubby to take a picture and post it on FS that would be a laugh..... I must get moving a lot more to tone up a bit.....Going for a weigh day on Sunday myself, I hope we both do well!.....Happy Dieting BFN Maggy May

You are doing great and you are motivating every person you come into contact with here in the Fat Secret family. I am checking out your progress and love that you are starting to see the changes for yourself. Don't worry it does absolutely nothing positive for your body or mind. Your mind set should be I am doing what is best for my body and it will show up in the physical body. Keep the Mantra. Live the Mantra. Have fun and stay away from the chocolate eggs and bunnies.

Thanks for all the great replies to my post, pleased that you liked the picture.@Mistybenner,when I joined fatsecret,I noticed the nationalities were mainly American, then I found out there was also UK fatsecret. I wonder if there are other fatsecret 'countries' besides Usa and UK. ---@Maggy,great news about your bicycle,I hope you now get some good weather to ride, will you ride alone or have you a friend who will go with you? Take it easy at first. I have not ridden a bike for about 50 years.Would love to see a photo of you with your bike.Good luck to you too for sunday's weigh in. @ Transformation Butterfly, thanks for your kind post, when we are feeling weak we at fatsecret all help to motivate each other. Yes,I will try and keep positive and stay away from the Easter chocolates next week.
