PGH marathon weekend!
forgot I signed up for the 5k yesterday ran it in 27min 35sec (top 8% in my gender bracket)
Beat my PR by a minute for the half marathon! (2hr 8min 30sec)
couldn't be happier, overall!

RICE the knee!! (Rest, ice, compression, elevate) hope it feels better. Still trying to wrap my head around 2 solid hours of renning??? How on earth!! To prevent and strengthen, I highly recommend the Doctors Best UC-2 collagen supplement!! It works wonder on my degenerate discs in my spine and osteoarthritic knee! If i stop taking it, after a few days i feel the difference. Its a powerful collagen supplement!

thanks! I'll have to look into that! the knee is already better today. i took ibuprofen sunday night and slept with an ice pack in it :) my quads are still sore but eh. m just walking that off ;) I'll have to look into the supplement, thanks!

You're welcome! You are amazing!! I could only aspire/work towards maintaining a jog for a solid 15 mins! Mostly to just warm up for boxing. You are a beast for doing these marathons! How long have you been running for?

idk about amazing but thanks! ive been running since 2016. i ran in highschool too (but only the 400m sprint/relay) i just started taking it seriously last year, i mean... i run to break my PR when i feel good.
