I royally goofed up today! First we got up late at my house and then my son had therapy (I had to go with him) so I almost missed breakfast. I rushed home and made a quick breakfast for the rest of the family after taking my daughter to school, then my son had psychological testing at 1 (again I had to go with him)so we left the house at 12 and took my mom to work and then took my son to his testing. Got back to the house at 5:30 (making me miss lunch) so that I could make a quick dinner. Still with all that running around and everything that I ate at breakfast and dinner, I was only sitting at like 3.2 net carbs for the entire day. Unacceptable! At that rate my bod will think it's being starved for sure! So I grabbed a glass of whole milk to make up for the carbs I was lacking (not an acceptable food item on the Atkins diet lol) and therefor I blew my diet. OOPS!! But I made my carbs. I just don't know what to do the next time I run into this, because I'm going to run into it again next week. Maybe next time I'll just take a twenty with me or pack a lunch or something.

3.2 grams of carbs isn't unacceptable, you should never worry about getting too few, the less the better.

^^^ this! Especially when first beginning. The less, the fast you will get into ketosis. Try keeping some things in the fridge on hand in case of emergency like hard boiled eggs, left overs, or even a bag of pork skins/rinds, etc.
