Good frozen morning from the house of the hill feeding that wood eating pig constantly pigs in the box chickens won't come out to feed they the smart ones I'm the stupid one they have trained.have a great day everybody.stay safe healthy and strong.

Gmornin. Balmy 11 when I was breaking ice on the duck pool this morning. Water splashed on my coat and refroze! The coffee's good! Stay warm and dry!

It's tough on daughter's chickens here in The Big Mitten too. She's given them extra straw, extra fat in their food, not concerned about them laying fewer eggs, just wants them not to die from the arctic blast that followed another weirdly warm December. Wool, cotton, linen, and silk are our friends in extreme weather eh. No polyester ;-). Bet you know that!
