We have a flock of chickens and Friday a hen that was sitting had 4 chicks hatch. Only one of them hatched a little later than the others and when hubby found it, it was cold. So now that chick is living in our second bathroom and we are hand feeding it and giving it PT to exercise it's legs. It is faring better than yesterday at this time but we are not out of the woods yet. If it can't walk then it won't be able to get to its nutrients to live. It made me think that we need our exercise everyday and sometimes every few hours, and we need the proper nutrients or we won't make it either. It's a delicate balance for my little chick and us.
