When your average resting heart rate for the day simply can’t get to excited anymore about 72 air squats, 50 pushups, 24 inverted rows …and a short 15 mile cycling interval. I think this heart 💜 has reached a level of zen my mind is striving for 😂

You can definitely hit this if you want too. Mine was in the mid to high 60's when I first started the weight loss journey back in 2017. I'm not going to sugar coat it, there's a lot of training involved. I cycle up to 200 miles a week right now and my watts on the bike are around 266. This was just a day to do some functional fitness and strength training. But, when the heart gets worked consistently which often happens with endurance training, it adapts and adjusts so when it's at rest - it can hardly be bothered to beat, LOL. But, take note - I have to explain how much I train at every doc appt. Amongst more sane members of the population who aren't training up to 2 hours a day, this RHR would be considered dangerously low and Medical practitioners tend to freak out a little when they see this number and they're not aware of how much a person works out.

You’re hanging with the pro cyclists at that average. Nice.

Right there with you with an average of 49-52. During my recent hip surgery the nurse asked me if I was a runner lol. Nope just lift weights fast and swing heavy barbells for cardio 😂

nice, you definitely put a lot of work into getting your heart rate that low! I was averaging 49 back in June but I cut my cardio down from what it was and im between 58 and 60 now. I was averaging 79 to 80 back in January before I started the weight loss and fitness journey.
