I have to watch my carb intake too. When I eat too many at one time my blood sugar goes wacky and I'm starving all the time. It sucks. Carbs are not my friends. I am supposed to stay below 125 and almost always do but 75 up to 100 is more reasonable for me.

Also struggling. Going to immerse myself in books, YouTube videos and whatever else I can find that cheers on the low carb way of life. Considering carnivore. But right now I'll just aim for a max of 30 gr. carbs. I see what Morticia is doing - how many carbs do you allow, Erika?

I came to the same place three weeks ago - losing the drive and focus. I picked myself up and started again. I am down 5 pounds!

I’m just getting back on track too. It’s been since the beginning of May for me. Thought I could try not keeping track of my food. That didn’t work

You will do it! One day at a time and the main thing is that you got back up and at it.

Thanks everyone! I missed these replies. Yeah, I saw a nutritionist who told me to eat way more vegetables and that got me going and I spiraled down the donut hole. Once I feel hungry from carb eating, I lose it. So, back to very low carbs for me and the greenest of vegies.

Same for me - carb tolerance is really low. I do wonder if I ever reached normal weight would my carb tolerance increase? What are your thoughts about your own prospects?

My story too. I’m convinced that the lower my carb intake, the higher my resistance to overeating/binging. I read some interesting facts while searching for information on high protein. Well I’m not sure they are “facts” since the source is www

Intermittent fasting, good sleep, high protein/low carb, green veggies, daily exercise, active mind. I have to do it all in order to control appetite and lose weight. It's about learning to be healthy and staying on top of it. Will the metabolism heal? I hope - eventually.
