Bionici's Journal, 07 April 2022

Sometimes, ya gotta do "what ya gotta do". We've been cooped up for the past several days with an intestinal virus which has pounded us senseless. In addition, the weather has been overcast & rainy. Thankfully, we are now feeling about 80% and have decided our digestive tracts are ready for "real" fool. Today, I had a doctor's appointment scheduled for a possible surgery in the near future. After the appointment we decided to have a very, very early dinner rather than lunch, and drove to the nearest Red Lobster for our food. We LOVE seafood, other than fried, and opted to each have one of their multi-seafood plates. I had some shrimp scampi, a very small lobster tail, and 4 smallish sea scallops with a small salad, rice, and broccoli. She had the halibut stuffed with crab or lobster. Of course, we overdid their order(s) of biscuits. I do not regret it one small bit. Maybe tomorrow, but tonight I am very satisfied, and will have some small & light snacks for my real dinner. I am just very happy to be rid of this virus. It was a real booger. So, yes, "we dood it". :) Back to exercise, normal food, and some normalcy in my life Friday morning.
