I've been busy all week - hardly had time to catch up on my journal. My biggest issue over the past few weeks before I started this new challenge, was that I continued to eat beyond my hunger ... I thought I had conquered that beast but when stress of recent days came on, I ate and ate and ate .... I knew it was emotional. My saving grace is that I kept it low carb but, truth be told, having much more calories than my body can use is weight gain, no matter which way you slice it! I think I finally have my eating under control this week and I am back to the quasi-intermittent fasting that I was doing just prior to Summer. I feel better already. The late night eating is also gone! Focus is back 80%.

Funeral was overwhelming and I found it hard to stay in the moment - kept going back to the day my father was buried a few years back. It was killing me inside. This too shall pass!

I have not weighed this week so far, but I hope I have not continued to increase in weight. I will weigh tomorrow for the challenge update. I hope you are all doing well. I am getting my momentum back slowly but surely!!! :) DO OR DO NOT, THERE IS NO TRY.
