I find myself saying that I have been a crap-head a time or two at dinner time. It never was my weakness, until I started controlling what I've been eating during the day, and now somehow I've been making excuses for my deep fried dinner. When does it end, Kelly?!?! Maybe I need to start minimizing the times I go out with friends, because, jeeze, I can't control it. It's been kind of a weird week, but that's no excuse. I will get better in due time, I've got 15 lbs to lose by Halloween. :P

Have an amazing Thursday, everyone! <3

Stay tough there is nothing wrong with smaller portions of fried food, you can get 15 by Halloween :)

A lot of times I find myself asking this question. "What do I want more?" My choices are, 1. my health and fitness or 2. this food that I want to eat. If 80% of the time you answer the question with number 1, you will do just fine. Sticking to an eating plan does not have to be 100%. 80% of the time works great and lets you have some comfort foods from time to time for the other 20%. Dont beat yourself up, just try to do the right things 80% of the time and you can accomplish amazing things!

Your body is telling you it's craving things you aren't giving it. Everything I have read says if you are craving fried foods it means you need to give your body good fats like olives, nuts, avocados. Try incorporating these at lunch to see if it staves off your dinner craving.

If you could only talk your friends into going to a real restaurant that serves healthy foods you would be just fine. Also, occasionally eating junk food is allowed ;-)

Over all, you are doing very well. Is there more that could be done? Of course, there is...we should all strive to do more; hell, I know I should! That being said, it is okay to cheat from time to time...just don't make a habit of it. And, like Snow said, suggest some variety to your friends...someplace that has food that everyone can enjoy, only healthier.
