Stress has been rearing its ugly head this week, Folks. I'm so glad I have my eating plan dialed in the way I do, because I can see how easy it would be to "go off the rails", so to speak. Fortunately, I'm still 100% on the wagon and still rocking my daily workouts. Most days, I just don't feel like there are enough hours in the day to get things done. I spend 2-3 hours a day prepping all of my food from scratch (my Sig-O doesn't know how to cook AT ALL, so 100% of the healthy food burden is placed on my shoulders.) At any given time, I have about a dozen different foods soaking, sprouting, fermenting, and marinating, in addition to a mountain of veggies to prep. I'm not getting in enough study time for my personal trainer/health coach exams (only 56% of first-time test takers pass the exam, so I HAVE to be prepared!), and the deadline for me to register for the exam is quickly approaching. AND I spend at least a couple of hours each day, dedicated to building online content for my health coaching business! My P90X workouts and my evening yoga/meditation practice are about the only things saving me from having a big time stress freak out moment. (Thank goodness exercise helps manage stress!) Something has got to give if I'm going to make more room in my day for studying. I just can't figure out what needs to step aside for a while.

Why does living a healthy life have to be so much f*%$ing work?!?! (I know the answer to that question. But it doesn't make me any less frustrated that healthy choices are almost always more effort and time consuming.)

OK, deep breath... Whining time is over. Time to get back to business, Folks.

Have a great day!

Sweet - a little something to mull when you have some idle brain time. Maybe it isn't the healthy life stuff that takes a lot of work. Maybe it's the other stuff that ate up time and energy in the day and crowded out our time. Yeah, the healthy choices are more time consuming - but not only are they healthier, they taste better!

It seems like maybe you could put off (some of the hours) business building until you get the certification, since it precedes you doing business. Obviously that's a very important part of being a health coach--building your clientele--and it's good of you to be forward-thinking about it. But I'd make the certification your priority - then you can put your entire focus into your business. That's just a suggestion though :) good luck getting a handle on your life. Maybe shorten the P90X workouts a bit too? Or really simplify your meals and eat the same things over and over so you're not prepping a lot at once? You could also ask your husband to chop or peel things - not the cooking, but the things anyone can do, if he's amenable.
