I need HELP !! I have been soo good for 2 months now and all of a sudden I have HORRIBLE thoughts about cheating. I want just want just a few chips or one bite of cake or a whole piece of pie. Whats happening ?? Can some help me figure this out. I need to get re-motivated and get my head on straight. I am worried because I have lost 20lbs and I am 2 lbs away from being under 200lbs. Any one who can help, I would be very grateful. Also, all of a sudden i have late night cravings again. I am not sure whats causing all this drama, but I need to stay focused. I dont want to loose all my hard work.

I am going to start by getting up early and going to the gym. Maybe that would help clear my head and re-focus my brain !!

Hi Redgirl: You haven't been keeping up your food diary over the weekend so it's hard to know what's causing the cravings. Have you been eating a lot of carbs lately? Food that weren't on the Atkins approved list for Induction? If so, that could well trigger your cravings. I think the only help for it is to get back onto Atkins and avoid trigger foods. Good luck!

I agree with Hbkim...look for trigger foods and carbs, like that apple pie on Thanksgiving. It really doesn't take much to get those cravings all fired up again. Going forward, try to get back in the habit of logging all your food every day. Make sure you're getting enough protein to keep your lean muscle...for women in the 5'3" - 5'8" range, the minimum is about 70g per day or so and the range goes close to 160g, all depending on the individual and the amount of activity. Stay strong and don't let these cravings undo all your work thus far. Good luck.

Can you find something low carb that can satisfy your cravings? There must be some recipe (like a cheese cake or something that might help). Cravings can sometimes be our bodies way of telling us it's missing some nutrient.

Thank you buddies for the advice. I did stray from journaling over the weekend due to uninvited guests. I am going shopping tonite to stock up on more low carb goodies. THANKS BUDDIES again!!
