I didn't get into those dresser drawers yesterday like I wanted to. I'll try to get them sometime today, along with trying to give myself an end of summer haircut. That is always interesting to do...lol!! I have done it in the past, and even as recently as in July. I try to keep my hair on the short side, as recently I have started to perspire in my hair. I never had that problem before. Even with menopause and hot flashes. I guess its just another thing I have to deal with, and its kind of gross in my opinion!!!

Nothing like trying to talk to someone and your hair is all wet, and they offhand comment, did you just wash your hair??? Yuck. It will stop when it gets cooler. I hope.

I had another kind of reality check recently. It was actually a sort of visual wake up on how much I actually have lost!! I used my friday weight loss at 264, which was 24 pounds, and added the 15 I lost before joining here, and I have a total of 39 pounds. The visual was actually a 30 pound bag of cat food. Or you could visualize 8-5 pound bags of sugar. Or a small child!!! I know my ASN 5 yr old son weighs at least that much!! That was what I was carrying around!! I still have 65.5 pounds to go, to reach my first goal!! It is getting closer and closer!!!

I guess I had better get moving, or I will never get anything done today!! I have some exercised I have to do today too, from the physical therapist. I still have to figure out how many calories those burn...lol!!

I hope everyone has a spectacular day!! Keep up the good diet fight and keep on eating healthy!!! I'll be here to back you up!!

Yup - I just posted elsewhere that I always buy 4 cases of water when I go to the grocery and I put it in the cart first thing - just pushing it around is a good reminder of how I carried that same amount on my body a year ago. I think there's a post on here where people are standing beside pics of their weight loss equivalent. And there's a great thread 'you lost what' ... funny. Good for you.
