I got some low carb bread - not frankenfood - just made mostly from whey protein isolate. It tasted like a sponge so I toasted it and then it tasted like a dry sponge! HAHA

I usually stay away from low carb replacements b/c they make me stall.

I have been away awhile not really focusing on losing weight. But I can't take being heavy anymore. I can't walk much since I got hit by that car and the 50 pounds I gained sitting in the wheelchair didn't help. So here I am picking myself up and trying again. I am going to eat LCHF and do intermittent fasting which worked well for me in the past.

Have a great day everyone!

Aww I can relate, I can't take it any more and neither can our bodies I've yo yo dieted and starved since I was 7. Only till I committed to keto am I finally not starving and not a moody mess, carb craving all the time. The weight had come of. But the freedom from food obsessions has been good. I hope you do well. And ya, fake bread. I just go without. They stall be big time. I've been stalled for 3 months thinking I should be able to eat keto breads, nope

Don’t give up. I injured my back 6 years ago. I could barely walk. I gained 50 lbs. I ended up having back surgery last Spring., and put on another 20 lbs. prior to-my surgery. I was in the best shape ever, .before my back injury. I had lost a bunch of weight and walked 3 miles everyday. Then, I ended up hurting my back and I spiraled down hill. I was really upset. Now I understand that I have to watch the calories and what I eat. I know I am stuck living a sedentary life, but I can try to watch the calories. I recently lost 20 lbs. That made me feel good, and push forward. I hope I can lose another 30 pounds, it might help my back, where I can walk easier.

Good luck. I know it is hard when you have a medical problem. I just had a hip replacement and need to get on the scale and see if I have had any weight gain.
