This has been a challenging week for me. People at work are talking about their holiday feasts, what they are making, whose bringing what and so on. Some people have already started baking and bringing it in and passing it out. When I say "no thank you" they look at me as if I have grown two heads and then I feel guilty and take whatever they have and then eat it. Then I feel bad about my choice and start obsessing about whether or not I am going to have a loss this week. Since this is the first holiday season since I started my new life journey of really taking care of myself I need to make some ground rules up for me and then stick to them. Any suggestions?

WHHHAHAAAAATTT? Why would you feel guilty for saying, "No, thank-you" to food you really want to avoid? Maybe just have treats at home where you can control them - or tell your friends you only allow one treat per day or one per week or something.

I think it's the look they give me, like they can't believe I would turn them down. I gotta work on that.

It is your body and your health! You don't have to feel bad for making the right choice... Just keep being strong and saying no to food you know you should not eat. In a month or two, when everyone will have gained 10 lbs over the holidays, you will be so proud of yourself saying no to all that fat and sugar.
