Mother Nature does not hide itself. I've never really tracked the pre, during and post gain/loss. But now that I have joined this sight, I can definitely see trend regarding my weight gains/losses.

Up one pound. I might weigh later in the week - not sure. I was in a meeting all day today, so I was sitting alot. Had a two hour drive back home as well. All of that to say, when I got home and started exercising, I noticed my feet were a little swollen. I do believe I collected a little bit of fluid over the course of the day and had some salty foods as well. We will see on next week's weigh in.

For me, for the biggest part, it was easier to control what I ate while I was at home during Christmas break (yeah, I get the school Christmas break). Now that I have returned to work the past two weeks, the what and how much of what I intake is totally blown. Especially today. Today was a tough day, I know I could have modified a lot of my factors and changed the where / what I ate and what I did for snacks; it's been a tough and emotional day. The tough days are not an excuse I realize, but I'm still learning how to actually handle /deal with real and perceived stress without a cigarette. Today is the first day in quite some time, that the primary thought I had was "man, if I could just have a cig" -- instead I went for an overabundance of food and junk snacks. So, for right now, I'm not going to make any promises, but I'll try to be good the remainder of the weekend. I just know that I need to get back into "control" of what and how I eat. Hey, at least I am being honest about not promising to be good.
I mainly started on the app on my phone recording my caloric intake. But then I realized this app is so much more and I love to view it on my computer. I love the support, the challenges, and the recipes. I joined mainly to self monitor what and how much I ate, as well as what nutrients I am taking in the most .. I found this place to be so much more! Going to get back on track; hopefully tomorrow... and tomorrow is always tomorrow so every day is a new day!
