I'm intermittent fasting: early supper and late brunch = about 16 hour fast, and a 6-8 hour eating window. I think just controlling the bedtime snacking makes a big difference. I sleep better without active digestion going on.
It's a (re-start).

Struggling to get restarted. My yard is producing peaches and raspberries and they are pretty irresistible. As soon as that winds down, I'm going to start fasting again, for now, I'm just keeping it light to get ready. Ready, set, go!

Well, I've had a hell of a summer. My diagnosis of coronary artery disease accelerated and soon I found myself having a triple bypass, followed by many weeks of recovery. And the robber squaters are still in our rental house.
A summer lost, but I'm getting my energy back. I'm doing cardio rehab 2X/week, and now dedicating myself once again to regaining fitness and losing some weight. I just plunked down some cash to join the classes at Jason Fung's fasting education program online. I believe that fasting is my best route to recovery and improved health. This is a lifelong battle.

Wow- I've put on 10 lbs. These past few months have been super stressful.
We've got a malignant narcissistic tenant in our rental house who is refusing to pay any rent, robbing us of our retirement income. And I've been diagnosed with corinary artery disease. Stress on stress. I'm trying not to let it get me down, some things are long term problems that you just can't fix with a wave of a magic wand. Keep walking in the beautiful springtime and keep smiling; things will improve.
