Hey everyone!!!
I haven't gone MIA I just had a ton of work that needed immediate attention. You know the life of a bookkeeper.. :)
I've been still doing well (or at least I think so 17 lbs gone) and I haven't gotten discouraged and given up.. I'm learning many things and it's not a diet to me anymore it's a total life change.. Making different choices in all aspects of my life.
I haven't been Limiting myself. If I want it bad enough I have it. Mind you lately I've felt a little ill when I "have it" on an overboard magnitude.
The weight is coming off slowly.. 17 pounds in almost 3 months. I'm not upset at all. I did some math.. 18 yrs/80pounds I can definitely invest a couple of years to taking it off.. Hopefully not another 18 yrs ha
Christmas is vastly approaching and getting ready this year has been a definite chore. This will be the first year without my Dad and I find myself getting teary eyed at the most silliest things. Picking out a turkey reminds me of last year when Dad gave everyone food poisoning from a not cooked enough turkey. Opening gifts on xmas morning is a dreaded thing for me this year. Every year for as long as I can remember we'd open our gifts and then head over to PaPa's for breakfast and morning CHOCOLATE!! Dad and the kids would destroy his house playing with the new toys.
Also the thought that our family has been torn apart after his death is heartbreaking. There won't be xmas with all 8 of us this year and our kids. Instead we'll be celebrating separately as the conflict has taken it's toll all around.
Okay enough of my whining.. but to my defense I haven't let any of this show in fear of ruining everyone's xmas. This Mama puts a big ole smile on for everyone..
