Been awhile since my last journal. I haven't weighed in over a week now. The scale just wasn't and isn't budging. Last few days have been sore and hurty. Lower back hurts, my shoulder is all stiff and I know I've pinched a nerve there somewhere. Pain down the back of my arm to my elbow. Used the tens unit on it last night. It helped some, but it's still very sore today. Just don't want to be at work. Just want to go home an sleep off the aches and pains. -_- Trying to stick with my food blogging during the week while I'm at work. Otherwise, just feel like I'm trying to make it through the day. ugh. Hope everyone else is having a good day.

So... I'm not weighing in til tomorrow. lol. Ate out twice on Saturday. Lunch was a patty melts with fried okra for the side, even had sweet tea. For dinner I ordered a 16oz steak, I had planned to only eat 1/2 and take the rest home. But I devoured the whole steak, a large salad with dressing on the side, and had a couple fried potato balls that were our appetizers. Only had 1 snack that day, and I made a turkey burger with asiago cheese and a mini pita bun. I was around 2300 calories for Saturday. I did eat lighter on Sunday, and today I'm back at it again with portion sizes and mindfulness. But we had company over the weekend and it was a good day of spending time together. It's good to have a splurge day once in awhile. And even though I ate a lot calorie wise, I was really active that whole day as well.
The furniture my father-in-law brought us is lovely. The dining set, china hutch, and buffet are all midcentury modern, solid oak set. A really pretty desk that matched the wood in our bedroom, so that's were it was placed, a solid wood rocking chair, a tobacco/pipe stand, that is really interesting. It belonged to my husband's grandfather. And a brand new king bed that had been slept on twice since it was too soft for my father-in-law.
I'm solo at the office today and honestly, I'm whooped. I'm still tired from the weekend. We also stayed up last night watching the season finally of Game of Thrones. Hard to believe the show is over, I really enjoyed it! Hoping for some spin offs that show what some of the characters of the show get into after where this ends. A whole new show on just dragons and where they come from, etc would be awesome. (Mainly watched the show for the dragons) So roughly 4 1/2 more days til a 3 day weekend.
Plans for the week:
Stick to the diet guidelines I've made.
Be more active, without setting my back off.
Stay positive.

Happy Friday Everyone!! Another week down!
The scale was up a little this morning. Ah well. Should fall off over the weekend. Going to be busy with company and moving some stuff around. Oh and of course kids! lol. I think I'll make roast Saturday while my father in law is visiting. He's bringing us a trailer full of furniture that was my husband's grand parents.
Honestly I didn't really do anything after work last night. Once dinner was done and put away, I was done for the night. Curled up in bed, read some, and went to sleep. Woke up this morning hurting. Must have slept wrong and irritated the herniated disc in my back. Increased numbness down the back of my leg, and it's achy today, stiff. Also left shoulder and neck is stiff. ugh. Just want to go home and soak in a hot tub for a few house. There is a strong possibility of using the ice pack on my lower back tonight as well.
Anywho, going to solider on today. Only 7hrs til the work day is over.

Guess the Peanut binge really wasn't a big deal yesterday. The scale dropped even lower today. Also still strongly craving food with lots of fat and protein. I've been wanting link sausage since 6:30 this morning. Tried to temper the craving with some coffee, blueberries and some cashews, and a few mouthfuls of my protein shake. Going to eat my breakfast a little earlier today and see if that helps. Otherwise I may change up my lunch for something with more fat in it. A hamburger with cheese sounds lovely...oh and bacon. yup clearly craving.
Going to try and keep the brakes on my cravings today, and give into them little by little with a mindful eye at the caloric side of it all. If my body needs it, I'm going to feed it what it's after.
Other news: got my sunroom half way done. I'm going to move some things out to the detached garage this afternoon while I have light. Also want to blow all the dirt off the covered patio that the kids and dogs drag up there.
Hubby and I were so tired we fell asleep on different couches in the living room together. lol. I woke up at 5am freezing and crawled in my bed for 30mins to get warmed up.
