I went for my usual morning pepsi and the machine was out. The gal before me got the last one. How's that for life giving you a lesson! So instead I'm drinking water on ice instead of sugar. Great start for the day! Eating my home made breakfast sandwich and thinking about how to make it with less carbs. I hadn't given that a thought until reading so much on this website about less carbs.
I'm still struggling with finding things here. I see a post one day and am not sure how to find it the next. I'll learn. I just need to keep at it.
Not following the plan I want to yet, but going to at least do this: less carbs, less sugar. I see the Dr. in a month and as always worry that I'm finally past being "pre diabetic" and into the "diabetic" zone. May as well get started on eating differently now.

I actually joined this website before I was ready to begin. I was cruising diet info and websites one day and saw this one. It was new to me and for fear I'd lose it if I didn't join right away, I did. But my plan is to actually begin next week. Oh, I know we've all heard and said that before, but I work for a High school. My daily job is beyond stressful. It's my first year here and I've never experienced anything like it in all the district jobs I've had. Graduation is this weekend. The last days of school, this week of getting everything ready-the stress is extreme and will be gone on on Sunday night. Then I'll have 8 weeks of stress free living to get a head start on what I need to change. I've had summers off before and always do better when I'm not working. I think at this point I'm fighting for my life, not just to look better, or even feel better. Does anyone else feel that way?
I've researched diets and have chosen one. I'm curious though. I tried the new Weight Watchers and even being experienced at the previous forms of points, I found this one to be (in my opinion) ridiculously difficult. Sure, Oprah can do it with all the help she has. Has anyone on this website used it and found it to be easy to follow as the previous versions were?

Bored to death at work today! I hate these days until my time off. All I want to do all day is eat because I'm bored. On work days I hardly eat at all so this is NOT an improvement.
