Nice session tonight. Each one keeps getting better and better. And now that I am getting pretty much on top of my carb intake, my energy levels are higher than they have been in years. Maybe the diagnosis of pre-diabetic was more a blessing than a downer.
Squats:
135 lbs, 1x10
179 lbs, 1x5
212 lbs, 1x5
236 lbs, 1x3
264 lbs, 1x2
280 lbs, 3x5
291 lbs, single
302 lbs, single
313 lbs, single
318 lbs for a single. The first time I have surpassed a 3 plate squat since before the first of the year.
201 lbs, for a widowmaker, 1x20
Depth was really good on every rep of every set.
Incline Dumbbell Press:
60 lbs each, 1x10, 1x7, 1x6 Will stay at this weight next week
One Arm Dumbbell Rows:
75 lbs, 3x10
Overhead Dumbbell Press:
35 lbs each, 3x10
Barbell Curls:
75 lbs, 3x10

Feeling good tonight. I keep feeling stronger everyday. Diet is getting dialed in with the carbs. I never thought I would say it, but since I have been eating healthier, I have a hard time eating the amount of calories I need in a day. Thanks to protein powder, I am still getting damn close.
Dead Lift:

Romanian Dead Lift:
168 lbs, 3x10
Overhead Press:
118 lbs, 2x10 then 1x7 and I ran out of steam

I have a passion for powerlifting and am pleased to find a few people on this site who also lift. Are there any groups for strength trainers? I ask because I have not found one yet. I am new to this site.

My second to last weigh in was Thursday evening when I tipped the scales at 238 lbs. I weighed myself Saturday morning, first thing before breakfast, and my weight was 234 lbs. This is a pretty decent loss over the last few weeks since I went on a low carb diet. My lost strength from the sickness is returning and I could go heavier on my weights, but I am going to stay on an easy progression back up since I am still dialing in my diet with the right amount of carbs to be diabetic friendly and enough fats and protein to keep making progress in the weight room
