My name is Dawn and I'm 25. I never used to worry about my weight, I have been "chubby" all my life, but never let it bother me to much. When I graduated high school I was about 150lbs which is slightly overweight for my height, but nothing to be concerned about. Over the next several years I put on over 30 lbs. About 2 years ago I found out I have PCOS and I have been changing my lifestyle to battle this disorder. I dont ever want to be skinny, but I would like to get back to what I consider my normal size, at about 145 lbs.
Having PCOS has made me really study and learn what a healthy diet is and how important regular exercise is. Every day is a struggle and Weight loss does not come easy.
So here I am looking for some encouragement and some new ideas and maybe I'll make some friends who understand my struggles. I'm starting off at 170 lbs and hoping to reach my goal weight by losing 25 lbs over the next year.
