My legs are super sore today...that boot camp work-out video yesterday kicked my a**! Although, I already knew that by the way my four year old kept saying "you okay, Mom?" while I was doing it. lol Wii weigh in was nice to see this morning, though! -2 in a day? I'll take it!

First week weigh in today, and I'm down 1 lb. Not too shabby for really only cutting a few things out last week. My short term goals for this week are to (1)follow last weeks goals 100%, with the (a)exception of cutting out DD completely...it's just too much temptation, if I go there I want to get my favorite coffee(s) instead of opting for the sugar-free flavors, and (b) adding one more to-go bottle of water to my daily intake. (2)stick with my exercise plan everyday (even the weekend!)(3) Track all food, and confess any mistakes (4) weigh in on wii fit daily and record here. I'm going to stick to once a week on my bathroom scale and for "official" weigh ins, but I want to make sure I'm keeping a good record of my habits and fluctuation also.

Today I'm feeling super positive, despite only maintaining my goals about 50% this week. Tomorrow is my first week weigh-in, and I'm hoping to see a little change, even though I did a pretty crappy job sticking to my plan. I did a good job drinking water, eating breakfast, and not eating after 9. On the other hand I had 3 large DD coffees with cream and (gasp!) butter pecan since last Tuesday. I also did a poor job tracking. I did however start new exercise routine today to get in about a solid 7 hours (mostly cardio) each week for the next two. I'll assess and change (hopefully increase!)as needed after that One day down! Yay! Small goals...one pound at a time.

It's seriously time to get serious. I was doing so well...and then came summer...along with my inability to say no (ever) to the delicious variety of bbq, beer, and DD iced coffee (butter pecan with cream, of course!). Well, the scale shows it and it's only going up. Short term goals(1 week from today):(1)Breakfast, lunch, dinner and at least two snacks every day to try and balance blood sugar. (2) No more cream or flavors in my iced coffee--I'll take that with skim and splenda, thanks. (3) No diet soda--4 large to-go bottles of water everyday. (4)No food after 9pm (5) No coffee at night, only decaf tea or water--sleep is crucial for weight loss, right?. Now, all that said, Saturday will be a cheat day this week due to the fact that I will be canoeing all day, and definitely drinking beer, but hopefully all that exercise cancels it out!
