Something in me made me buy a frozen bag of mixed berries. I had some yesterday, and think it taste fresh and sweet. Yum. My girlfriend take a spoonful from my plate, and make a crazy 'lemon face'. Say they are very sour and bitter. Funny how that works. Individual taste. Seems like I'll have this 'sweet' berry mix for myself. 😉

It could be because you haven’t had sweets in awhile? Cheesecake wasn’t ever sweet to me but I had a tiny piece today and it was way sweeter than I remember! I wouldn’t complain about having all of those berries to myself 😉

Yep as soon as I cut out the garbage, all kinds of foods started to taste sweet to me. Nuts, natural peanut butter, even meat and I can distinguish all the different flavor note in black coffee.

Yes, it's pretty cool to dial down on sweet. I've been sweet-free near two years. She is not 100% off sugar yet, but I suspect she will soon enough, due to her occasional joint pains. Guess she also need to hit the health crisis before a total elimination happen.

Wait till you start decreasing the sodium in your diet— it makes eating in restaurants almost impossible. Most things are so salty they are almost inedible.

Draglist Think I get why you have blueberries as sometimes-food. My personal experience with this berry binge, was problems with sleep, non-happy mind, body aches, and slow muscle recovery. Visited friends, and had potatoes there. My body seem to have reached near allergic to carbs it seems. Act almost like alcohol to some degree. Seems I need to revisit this fact once in awhile. Running clean meat and egg now, and my mind is reaching sunrise again.

Kenna Morton unlike sweet, lack of salt seem as a common cause for collapse, death and hospitalization. In the hot climate here, I notice a considerable performance gain from salt. In a cooler climate, it may not be as important though.

Keilin_4 Love berries, and it is sad and frustrating when the body do not like them. Was hoping for a great feel, but it didn't work out. 😕 Will probably give it another go every few months, in hope for better acceptance from the body, over time.

Your right Diddlee— salt is essential especial under circumstances where the weather is hot, or when working in areas or at jobs that cause significant sweating. Your particular living area puts you in that category during part of the year— loss of body fluids in large amounts such as sweating, vomiting or diarrhea not only depleats sodium but potassium as well. Appropriate oral hydration and electrolyte replacement can be critical.

Oh my! I am sorry, yes maybe just eat a couple of it next time, plus you have been eating only meat for long time bet your body is used to it.
