I'm a type 2 diabetic and I found that if you cut out most of the sugar out of your diet, the weight will fall off. When I was diagnosed, I was shocked into going on a very strict diet, more protein, more fibre, less fat, less sugar and I lost 4 stone in 6 months and feel so much better for being on a sugar reduced diet. Good Luck.

Paul, thank you for your comment! I am trying now to cut down sugar. But sometimes I need some sugar or sugary drinks as my endocrinologist think that I might have hypoglycemia. So to get better from shaking and ect I need to have sugar. As you said, maybe to try more strict diet?
