No real change in weight today. I was hoping to see a little come off, but it didn't happen. I did eat a lot yesterday, and went slightly over my RDI, but nothing really worth mentioning.
I worked late yesterday, and Wife was there late afternoon working also, so when we were done, we went for a salad. Nice. Then, afterwards, we went to a café for coffee.
Well, the coffee became an Irish Coffee, and it was joined by a
little slice of apple pie. It was really nice, it was calculated and I ended up not very far from where I wanted to be. I'm perfectly fine with it.
The only regret is the fact that it probably is the reason that I didn't lose any of the weight today - I simply ate too much food yesterday, so I am heavy today. No fat gain. Just heavy. It'll come off.
So, today is a little different from my usual Friday.
Wife, Daughter and I are going to Copenhagen, to do some practial errainds. Boring stuff, that I won't bother you with. We're gonna be on the train at 7 AM (it's 5 AM now and I woke up too early, but hey, it meant I got 30 min on the bike!), and they we're gonna wander the streets of Copenhagen most of the day. Just doing a little shopping and have a nice day. The forecast tells of AWESOME weather, so it'll be a nice day.
Then, in the evening, we hope to meet up with my oldest nephew. We're gonna go see his place, his girl, his puppy, and have a nice dinner. We've never been there before, so we're looking forward to it. Never met the girl or doggie either.
My nephew is vegetarian - something I am definitely not. However, I have no problem with vegetarian foods, I can respect that decision. Of course, there are plenty of good food in that category also. I am curious what he's doing. I got a little hint of it, so I have added things in my food diary already, to at least have a ball park idea of what to expect. This way, I will know what I can do about lunch and breakfast. Planning is everything.
Lunch will probably be at a little Turkish buffet. Copenhagen is full of them, and they're very affordable and pretty good. There are a lot of different dishes, some good and some bad. It's a place to stay focused, but it's fairly easy to put together a good meal with few calories.
So today I am thankful for: - THE DAY WEEKEND! - 30 minutes on the bike and a day out! - Free food for dinner! :)
I hope the sun will shine on you guys as much as it'll shine on me today. Literally! Life is good!
