Slipping. I think I may finally be getting it together. Still plan on cycling the odd day to maintenance, but I seem to be sorting it out. Hubris?

I'm going to suggest a read that helped me. And while I'm not as young as you are, what she said made sense and may help you up your exercise when you aren't on lifting days and may help your lifting. The book is called "Forever Painless," by Miranda Esmonde-White (I believe). Title is correct, not sure about Miranda's last name. But you should be able to check it out of your local library if nothing else. Her theories are also lined out in, "Aging Backwards," her last book. Both are good reads and might help right now. A great deal of what she says firmly ties in to waking up muscles so that we can burn calories efficiently and keep doing it! 😁
