No need for alarm! The gain is from my new scale. I'm going to have to work a little harder for that blue line again :-) I was in a discount shop and saw a brand-new WITHINGS digital scale under a stack of stuff. $30. Can't beat that. I was going to wait until I reached my goal to get one but a "good deal is a deal". I knew my old scale was off by about 3 pounds. My old scale is decades old and doesn't have a battery to replace.
I had this scale last fall but returned it because the percentages fluctuated so much. The app kept some of my readings which I thought was cool. It allowed me to compare my readings from last year. I had a DEXA scan at the same time which gave me similar results as the scale. I won't take the Muscle Mass and Bone Mass readings as totally accurate, but I am sure they are somewhat close. The muscle mass probably has a 3-pound variation. I will check it over the next few months for consistency. Having lost 100 pounds over the last year, I did lose some muscle. I'm working on building that back.
