I have been in such a funk with this knee injury. Haven't gone to doctor yet but last night my knee started popping everytime I walked. That can't be good! The pain is constant. I tried walking a bit yesterday and came home throbbing in pain. I haven't watched my diet at all cuz I'm looking for comfort...I need to regroup! The place we are staying has a small gym so tomorrow I will try to at least do upper body workout. On the plus side, the weather here is beautiful!! It's supposed to be in 80s today. Wish I could hike....

Enjoy the weather! Put rice in a sock, microwave it for 1.5 minutes and put it around your knee. Really helps my knee issues

Injuries are so frustrating but you have the right mindset to try and get some upper body workouts in. There is a gal my age that trains in my time frame and she broke an arm skiing but I live that our trainer is working around it and she is still there 3x a week. She is frustrated too because it will set her back but I reminded her that we all have setbacks because we are living life and stuff happens. At least you are here and putting in the work. You got this. Try to remember your why and think of your strong mom and focus on your calories you take in. 💯💯

oof where is the pain located?? Was there impact to your knee? A helpful basic PT exercise to help with knee pain: While sitting on floor, legs in front of you squeeze your quad, your heal will lift off the floor. this is called "Quad Sets" This helps move out swelling, keeps leg strong, among relieving painp 1st physical therapy exercise i got, next to heel slides, but dont wanna aggravate your popping in case its a meniscus injury.

When do vet back home? If it were me I would go to my doctor about the knee pain since it's been more than a couple days, he may tell you to stay off it completely for awhile. Do you have the knee wrapped in an ace bandage or something? Sure hope it gets better soon.

Redporch, wow! You are a good friend! While we have never met, you said things that I needed to hear! I need to take a minute and not feel sorry for myself but dig deep and find that inner strength. I am frustrated, but by not sticking to some kind of healthy plan I am not doing myself any good. It's a vicious cycle..💜🙏

Dazey, thank you for the exercises. I will try that. I fell off a 12' cliff ( I was mountain biking) a few years ago and tore the MCL in my right knee and this feels similar. The pain is on inside of left knee and the pooping is on top side of knee cap.

Fritzy, We are in Bullhead, Az/ Laughlin NV. I can go to a quick care in Laughlin and it will be covered by insurance so I don't have to go out of network. I kept telling myself that it was just a sprain but it seemed to get worse last night and so I think you are probably right and I should have it looked at 💜

Please take care of your knee and let it heal! Train the remaining body parts but let your knee rest ❤️ and show it some love. Unfortunately, I have experience with the alternative.

I would get it checked out sooner than later D1234. If it‘s a partial tear better to know that so it doesn‘t end up a complete tear.

Sk, my husband just took me all over, trying to find a quick care. In Laughlin the only one they have is closed and in Bullhead you have to go to ER, which I didn't want to do. We will go again tomorrow and hopefully we can see a doctor. 💜

Storms and Momo, thank you!💜💜. Tom, I am really in pain now. The popping of it throws me into a tizzy! I have a very high tolerance for pain and don't always know how bad it is. The way I can tell I'm in pain overload is that I get extremely nauseous. I feel like that now.🤑
